During my trip home to Iowa, I was helping my bestie work on her daughters graduation party and we were going through a ton of pictures and stuff to add to a couple of tri-fold boards. While we were working on it, she kept pulling out all these little stickers and stuff with sayings on it that she had accumulated from scrap-booking.

I’m digging all the extra cool stuff, I never saw those before when she and I had worked on scrapbooks a long long time ago but I absolutely hated my first one and I ended up chucking it in the garbage. (This was back in 1999).

Well, I’ve decided to give it another go with all of Lilly’s pics. I finally have something to be creative about and I have been having quite a blast with it.  I bought an album for Lilly’s Iowa trips (past, current and future), and Jen bought me a beautiful album for Lilly’s over-all photobook that is just simply gorgeous and lots of paper to fill it with.

I’ve currently taken over my sisters dining room table and found out that my sister has a huge stash of scrapbooking supplies too which I’ve raided.

My bestie and I are going to continue working on our albums via skype and it sounds like a few of the awesome ladies from my moms group are interested in joining up together to work on them when I get back too so I’m excited.

I’ve really needed a new hobby lately anyway, something that I can look forward to working on in the couple hours after my little ones goes to bed.  I’m a happy camper.
